Bear Ministry

Bear Ministry

This ministry started when we placed 30 teddy bears in our pews to help our members minister to those with health or emotional problems or bumpy times in their lives. Also, the bears could be given to people who are celebrating new beginnings. Our members were encouraged to take a bear to help them on their ministry missions. Each stuffed bear has a tag stating it attended worship services at our church, and it comes to them with blessings of worship and hope. The bears are replaced regularly. The bears have also been given in celebrating new members, blessed births or any time a member wanted to minister by passing along a bear when needed.
